Watch the broadcast premiere of Troubled Waters on WJXT - Channel 4.

Water is the lifeblood of Florida’s economy and essential to our health and quality of life. However, our waterways are suffering from fertilizer runoff, sewage, industrial pollution, toxic algae blooms and failing septic tanks. Combined with the impacts from a rapidly growing population we have a potential recipe for disaster.

Troubled Waters: Connections and Consequences, highlights the significant pollution problems that exist, the politics that are undermining our environmental protections, and the impending water crisis that we face.

We are standing at a critical crossroads, as the ecological future of the St. Johns River and Florida’s waters hangs in the balance. Will we continue with the status quo or choose a more sustainable path forward?

Watch #TroubledWaters and join the call to action for the #StJohnsRiver and all of our rivers, lakes, springs, and aquifers. The future of Florida's waterways is up to us.
