On Friday, March 31st, painter Margaret Ross Tolbert will share her experiences on springs activism through art.

On Saturday, April 1st, environmental scientist Debbie Segal will start off the day with a Springs 101 lecture. Debbie's introduction into springs will be followed by Howard T.Odum Florida Springs Institute Executive Director, Dr. Robert Knight, who will discuss springs chemistry. Florida Springs Institute SPRINGSWATCH volunteer, Lindsey Kelly, will talk to us about researching manatees and water quality in our springs. Traci Deen, Esq. and Margaret Stewart, Esq. from the Center for Earth Jurisprudence will lead a discussion on environmental ethics.

At the end of the lecture series, James Taylor, from the UNF Environmental Center will facilitate an interactive activity on civic engagement!
