Our little town of High Springs is known for a few things and one of those is our beautiful SPRINGS! So the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute along with City of High Springs Community Redevelopment Agency and Visit Gainesville / Alachua County, FL have come together to fund a new mural on the side of the North Florida Springs Environmental Center (NFSEC) building (previously the old High Springs Post Office, next to the Priest Theatre)! The mural will take up the whole side of the NFSEC building!

During the evening guests will have a chance to preview the new High Springs mural and witness muralist, Doug Hancock, start his painting process! The Florida Springs Institute/North Florida Springs Environmental Center will also be opening it's doors to guests to take a jump into the past, present, and future of Florida's springs! In addition, we have TWO new and exciting exhibits including our fully intact manatee skeleton! So come out and join us for another fun evening in our wonderful town of High Springs!

* Mural projection will take place between 8:15 PM and 8:45 PM and light refreshments will be served!
