Make an Impact as an Intern or Volunteer with FSI!

The interns at the Florida Springs Institute are an integral part of our organization. Our interns contribute to our mission in many ways, including: 

  • Assisting in water quality sampling and testing, 
  • Conducting experiments, 
  • Planning and organizing events, and 
  • Assisting with outreach efforts. 

Internship Positions

The application period for fall 2018 internships is now open. Internship positions available from August 27, 2018, through November 30, 2018, are listed below. Please click on the name of the internship position for application guidelines.

Interested in Volunteering?

The Florida Springs Institute is always accepting volunteers to assist with a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Onsite data collection at Ichetucknee Springs, Homosassa Springs, Silver Springs, and Rainbow Springs for the SpringWatch program,
  • Greeting and interacting with members of the public at the North Florida Springs Environmental Center,
  • Setting up for FSI special events and meetings, and 
  • Tabling at environmental festivals and events.
