Wakulla Spring Adaptive Management Strategy

In an effort to assist with continuation of the recovery process at Wakulla Spring, the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute (FSI) has decided to  revise and reissue the preliminary WSI report . It is hoped that the availability of this revised report will serve as a springboard to regain the momentum for Wakulla Spring restoration and protection. Springs Health Report Cards

One goal of the Florida Springs Institute is to provide accurate and readily understandable information about the current ecological health of Florida's major springs. The springs health report cards provided below present the detailed data used to assign grades for important springs attributes. Florida Springs Water Quality Trends

A number of Florida's largest springs are routinely monitored by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.  The Florida Springs Initiative will periodically summarize these water quality data to illustrate trends over the period-of-record. Springs Restoration Plans
