Kings Bay Adaptive Management Strategy
The Florida Springs Institute is participating in development of the Kings Bay Adaptive Management Strategy (KBAM). One of the first effortsis the evaluation of reduced aquatic plant management on the growth of nuisance algae in Kings Bay. Developments have been made on this proposed Management Strategy. The project went under way in March 2012 with the help of volunteer students from Waynesburg University in PA. The plan of study is attached below.

The attached student report, (prepared at the University of Maryland) proposes a plan of action for this phytoremediation project.
