SUMMARY:Springs Academy: The Past, Present, and Future of Springs
DESCRIPTION:Come out to the North Florida Springs Environmental Center for an hour-long class in Florida’s water resources and springs with Florida Springs Institute Executive Director, Dr. Robert Knight. During this class, Dr. Knight will be presenting an in-depth overview of springs history, science, and conservation.\nThis course takes place on the first Tuesday of every month from October through March. Those who attend all six classes will receive a complimentary certificate of completion! Each class, students also get a chance to sit down for lunch with Dr. Knight and Florida Springs Institute staff to ask questions and find out more about how they can get involved in protecting these important natural resources.\nRegistration for each class is not required.
