Located in North Central Florida, the Santa Fe River is home to over 30 named springs and  provides unique and essential habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals. FSI PUBLIC COMMENT

This letter was provided to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in January 2020, as the Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute’s public comment regarding the Re-evaluation of the Minimum Flows and Levels for the Santa Fe and Ichetucknee Rivers and Springs.
