It’s hard to believe that Into the Springs is just one month away! We have been working hard behind the scenes to create a fun weekend of entertainment, education, recreation and community. While we are still working out some of the details, we are excited to share what we do have finalized, starting with our music schedule.
We are excited to welcome back Noah MacGinnis, Mourning Glories, Cliff Dorsey, and Locochino; as well as welcome Whitey Markle and the Swamprooters, Matt Brown, Trail Diver, Electric Kif, Robbie Litt, Wax Wings, Hannah Harber and the Lionhearts, Savants of Soul, and Jamie Davis. While their musical styles range, they are all talented musicians. We can’t wait to see each of them take the stage at Deep Spring Farm!
In addition to music, we plan on having several great workshops and recreational activities planned. While we are still working on that schedule, we are able to share that we will be offering farm tours, yoga classes, paddle board yoga demos, a talk on Florida friendly landscaping, and an interactive ceramics workshop. Additionally, Lars Andersen of Adventure Outpost will be renting kayaks for those wishing to paddle Sunrise Pond. Stay tuned to our event page and our Facebook event page for more on our workshops and recreational activities.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the farm and as usual, were blown away by its beauty. Our gracious hosts, Michael and Leela Robinson, have been working hard to prep the farm for Into the Springs, and it surely shows. The area around Deep Spring Pond is a truly fabulous example of Florida friendly landscaping. In addition to the beauty surrounding the pond there are a variety of pumpkins growing throughout the farm’s bedded areas, and the roselle is in bloom.
