join us as we celebrate the 11th anniversary of FSI and officially re-open the environmental center!
Featuring live ‘Old Time Southern String’ music in the garden by The Baldwins, hors d’oeuvres and wine tasting, a book talk/signing by Dr. Robert Knight, and an opportunity to pose for a picture with Miss Mermaid Florida 2021! Explore the Environmental Center exhibits throughout the night, such as the manatee skeleton, resident Peninsula Cooter turtle “Poseidon”, Santa Fe River and Suwannee River fossil case, and interactive Florida Springs Map.

Dr. Robert Knight will be giving a short talk about his and Marian Rizzo’s newest book- Silver Springs: The Liquid Heart of Florida. Its Past, Its Present, and Its Future. He will also be available for book signings of Silenced Springs: Moving from Tragedy to Hope, as well as his other works!
