Springs Academy is a free lecture series on Florida’s freshwater resources and springs. Each class is tailored to make learning quick and easy so you’re ready to hit the ground running as a springs expert. The classes will be held on the second Tuesday of every month, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. Participants who attend all 6 classes will receive a certificate of completion upon request. Discussion will go as deep as our time and audience allows.

Ryan Smart’s Biography:
Ryan Smart holds a Master’s degree in Water Policy & Public Administration from the University of Florida, where he was honored for his environmental advocacy work as the 2017 University of Florida Bob Graham Center Young Floridian of the Year.
He took the helm as FSC’s first Executive Director in 2018, after having served as the Director of the Florida Conservation Coalition and President of 1000 Friends of Florida.
